Peters' post-conceptual position has been a (self-) ironically experimental, but nevertheless serious confrontation with social longings and breaks that she is consistently pursuing for almost twenty years: she travels and tells of the distant / foreign and thus reveals their idealization. It is reminiscent of (and satirizes it at the same time) the search for happiness and the dream of a better world. Reality and fiction are intertwined. With Peters, they are a dialectical one that needs to be dissected with relish. (Ralf Westhag)
