Temporary Exhibition
Max Weiler and Emmy Klocker
12.06.2026 - 31.01.2027
The exhibition explores the personal and artistic dialogue between Max Weiler and the Klocker family. The focus is on Weiler’s close relationship with Wolfgang Klocker, which took on a new intensity after Wolfgang’s early death through the sustained commitment of his mother, Emmy Klocker. Her passion for gardening, flowers, and nature provided an ideal setting for Weiler’s nature-inspired painting and led to several commissioned works from his late period. These works are complemented by personal artifacts—photographs, correspondence, and dedications—as well as by Teresa Andreae’s film, which reflects on the foundation’s history. The exhibition space reveals how art, biography, and private life intertwine.

The Fluoro Fleece Kunstkollektiv (FFKK) was founded in late 2024 by Alena Schneider, Alexander Bachmann, Clemens Gächter, Hannah Achrainer, Laura Berger-Schiestl and Janine Lou Anne, and has since expanded to include Rachel Katstaller. Through their interdisciplinary practice, they seek to make art accessible – in a humorous, joyful and open-minded way.
