Andrea Lüth. Kommt da noch was?

12.06. - 08.11.2026

ends in 5 Months

The 2026 Klocker Award goes to Andrea Lüth (b. 1981, Innsbruck). Lüth works across a wide range of artistic media: painting, graphic art, text, video, music and sculpture are all part of her repertoire. Despite this broad range of media, Lüth manages to maintain a clear and recognisable artistic style. The use of text plays a key role within her work. Both spoken and written language are employed not as mere additions, but in a dialogic manner. It is only through the interplay of image and language, in their tensions as well as their points of harmony, that the full depth of Lüth’s artistic work unfolds.

ART BOX feat. Fluoro Fleece Kunstkollektiv (FFKK)

02.05. - 31.10.2026

ends in 4 Months

“I CAN FIX HIM ! (2026)”: Gregor A. has been borrowed from the archives and is now on the loose. However, the Fluoro Fleece Kunstkollektiv (FFKK) washes its hands of the matter, feigning innocence. The Fluoro Fleece Kunstkollektiv (FFKK) was founded in late 2024 by Alena Schneider, Alexander Bachmann, Clemens Gächter, Hannah Achrainer, Laura Berger-Schiestl and Janine Lou Anne, and has since expanded to include Rachel Katstaller. Through their interdisciplinary practice, they seek to make art accessible – in a humorous, joyful and open-minded way.

Temporary Exhibition

Max Weiler and Emmy Klocker

12.06.2026 - 31.01.2027

ends in 7 Months

The exhibition explores the personal and artistic dialogue between Max Weiler and the Klocker family. The focus is on Weiler’s close relationship with Wolfgang Klocker, which took on a new intensity after Wolfgang’s early death through the sustained commitment of his mother, Emmy Klocker. Her passion for gardening, flowers, and nature provided an ideal setting for Weiler’s nature-inspired painting and led to several commissioned works from his late period. These works are complemented by personal artifacts—photographs, correspondence, and dedications—as well as by Teresa Andreae’s film, which reflects on the foundation’s history. The exhibition space reveals how art, biography, and private life intertwine.

Past Exhibitions

The exhibition shows works by Max Weiler (1910–2001) from the collection of the Klocker Foundation and sets them in relation to contemporary positions. The artists Carmen Brucic (born 1972), Annja Krautgasser (born 1971) and Angelika Wischermann (born 1983) each refer to individual works, series of works or biographical aspects of Weiler. The comparison reveals both formal and content-related parallels as well as critical debates that open up different approaches to Weiler's work

Art Box feat. Amanda Burzić

26.06.2025 - 12.04.2026

Amanda Burzic (born in Salzburg in 1994, lives and works in Vienna) paints on canvas, clothing and everyday objects – and not just with paint. Using stickers, stones and slogans, the new scholarship holder of the Klocker Foundation creates authentic and intimate works that oscillate between kitsch, humour and emotion.
