Nora Schöpfer

*1962   lives and works in Innsbruck

She studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Oswald Oberhuber and Ernst Caramelle. In an experimental interweaving of fragments from memory and imagination, often transported through various media such as painting, installation, photography and video, Nora Schöpfer shows in her works fictitious perceptual processes that question the concepts of time and space as well as representations of reality and materiality. The interest focuses particularly in the directness of experience.
