Michael Ziegler

*1960   lives and works in Innsbruck

Ziegler studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Peter Prandstetter 1981-88. His drawings and oil paintings include still lifes, landscapes and reclining figures, in small-format with restrained colours. The compositions are meticulously planned and simple, allowing the unconscious to suddenly come to the surface.
