Josef Schwaiger

*1962   lives and works in Vienna

He studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg 1982-88. Austrian State Scholarship 1992. Since the 1980s, he has been especially interested in the term ‘painting’ and reflects in his works the essential elements of this medium, which he locates structurally and tests using various potential applications.
