Light is the prerequisite for our visual perception. Zora Kreuzer transforms the Klocker Museum into a light space and invites visitors to consciously experience perceptual-physiological effects.

The architecture, depth effects and contrasts appear altered by the colouring of the surrounding light. Through subtle interventions with colour and light, Kreuzer literally demonstrates to visitors that seeing is always a dynamic process.

Opening of the exhibition:
Friday, 22 March 2024, at 6 p.m.

Silent party:
Friday, 22 March 2024, at 8 p.m.

The exhibition shows works by Max Weiler (1910–2001) from the collection of the Klocker Foundation and sets them in relation to contemporary positions. The artists Carmen Brucic (born 1972), Annja Krautgasser (born 1971) and Angelika Wischermann (born 1983) each refer to individual works, series of works or biographical aspects of Weiler. The comparison reveals both formal and content-related parallels as well as critical debates that open up different approaches to Weiler's work
