For the second part of the series, we invited our 2023 Art Award winner Christine Ljubanović to explore the collection with us. The aim was to use the artist's eye to make an initial pre-selection for a second excerpt from the Klocker Collection.
Amanda Burzic (born in Salzburg in 1994, lives and works in Vienna) paints on canvas, clothing and everyday objects – and not just with paint. Using stickers, stones and slogans, the new scholarship holder of the Klocker Foundation creates authentic and intimate works that oscillate between kitsch, humour and emotion.
