Museum Opening

Almost 50 years after the tragic plane crash in which Wolfgang Klocker lost his life, a museum in his honor will open on March 25, 2022.
The presentation of the Klocker Foundation collection entitled "The Art of Collecting- Part I" will be complemented by the exhibition of the 2022 Klocker Foundation's Art Award Winner Ernst Caramelle and the Klocker Foundation scholarship holder Janine Weger.

Opening
Bright Sky. Max Weiler in dialogue with Carmen Brucic, Annja Krautgasser & Angelika Wischermann
The exhibition shows works by Max Weiler (1910–2001) from the collection of the Klocker Foundation and puts them in relation to contemporary positions. The artists Carmen Brucic (born 1972), Annja Krautgasser (born 1971) and Angelika Wischermann (born 1983) each refer to individual works, series of works or biographical aspects of Weiler.

Curator's Tour
Lena Ganahl, director and curator of the Klocker Museum, will guide visitors through the exhibition "Bright Sky. Max Weiler in Dialogue with Carmen Brućić, Annja Krautgasser & Angelika Wischermann".
