Anton Tiefenthaler

*1929   +1982  

Tiefenthaler studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Sergius Pauser and Herbert Boeckl 1949-53. Theodor Körner Prize 1963. Tiefenthaler used colourful delicate drawings not just as a means of representation, but to translate his experience of reality using art media into a restrained lyrical language.
