Vernissage

Opening matinée "ART BOX feat. Veronika Abigail Beringer"

On the occasion of Premierentage 2022 the Klocker Museum opens its exhibition of its new fellow Veronika Abigail Beringer at the Art Box. For the design of the latter the Klocker Foundation established a separate promotional programme that is meant to support especially students and graduates of art academies and universities. Veronika Abigail Beringer, born in Götzens, in 1990, studied painting and animation under Judith Eisler at the University of Applies Arts in Vienna, where she has been living and working ever since. Starting with the principle of the collage, the artist, with the help of various media, such as painting or ceramics, reflects her own works in a cyclical mode of thought and develops new projects using partly familiar motifs or ideas.

Opening

Opening of the Exhibition "In March 2020 ..."

With the onset of the pandemic, the art market shut down. The Klocker Foundation saw it as its task to replace the market and provide immediate aid for Tyrolean artists. In March 2020, a special budget for acquisitions was set up and handled by the foundation's advisory board. With 28 positions, a snapshot of art in the Lockdown was created, when everything was changing and time seemed to stand still.
